GP warrants the following products against defects
in materials and workmanship under normal commercial use and services.
During the warranty period, a defective product or component of a
product will be repaired or replaced at no charge excluding shipping.
The GPI warranty does not cover normal wear & tear, product damage
or failure that results from misuse, abuse, mishandling, misapplication,
alteration or modification of the product. The GPI warranty is extended
to the original delivered customer only. In no event shall the warranty
exceed the specified time periods from the original date of purchase.
Five Year Warranty:
Uni-Lock/Pro Series Dumbbells,
Barbells, Urethane Olympic Plates and 7’ Power Bars carry a 5 year
warranty. Fixed Weight Dumbbells or Barbells are warranted against
breakage or defective metal components. Warranty does not cover normal
urethane head wear or tear caused by usage. Warranty does not cover
damage or defacing of the numbered increments (GP will provide alternate
solution for that condition). Damage caused by banging and/or dropping
of these products on sharp metal racks or hard floors such as concrete
is not warranted. Cuts and gouges in the urethane will show this
type of abuse.
Three Year Warranty:
Solid Head Urethane Dumbbells
Series II products carry a 3 year warranty.
Products warranted against
breakage or defective metal components. Warranty does not cover normal
wear caused by usage. Damage caused by banging and/or dropping of
these products on sharp metal racks or hard floors such as concrete
is not warranted. Cuts and gouges in the urethane will show this
type of abuse.
One Year Warranty:
Rubber Olympic Plates, Small
Bells, Accessories, etc. carry a 1 year warranty. Rubber Olympic
Plates are warranted against breakage or defective rubber coating.
Warranty does not cover normal wear caused by usage. Damage caused
by abusive banging and/or dropping of the plates on concrete or metal
surfaces is not warranted.
NOTE:
If you have a warranty claim immediately,
contact GP Industries to arrange for disposition of your claim. Products
or components will be repaired or replaced at the sole discretion
of GP Industries and will be subject to evaluation and/or inspection
of the defective product by GPI. All warranty
claims will be subject to a time prorated allowance, which consists
of the prorated percentage of the total years covered. GPI reserves the right to make changes
in the design and/or materials without formal notice. Rubber products
are not intended for use on concrete floors.
Note: Rubber products
should not be cleaned with detergent or acetone-based cleaners. Please
clean rubber products with damp cloth only. The purchaser is solely
responsible for proper use of all GPI products. Improper use may
result in personal injury. At the time of purchase of any GPI product,
the purchaser acknowledges awareness of the risk of personal injuries
arising from the use of the product, and shall be solely liable for
any personal injury/damages arising from its use.
